About Us
Dan Grande  -  Perrysburg, New York

Thanks for stopping by and visiting Dan's Hollands!  I have a fairly small rabbitry, consisting of 35-40 holes.  Most of the cages are filled most of the time - that's how we like it around here!  I share a rabbitry with my wife, Jennifer, who raises Lionheads.  In addition to the cages reserved for my Hollands, Jen has about 25 cages of her own for her Lionheads.  Although this remians a hobby for the two of us, we do take the responsibility of caring for the creatures very seriously.  Our cages are spacious, clean and are chuck full of toys to keep the rabbits busy.

We have made considerable investments in time, energy and money to produce a quality line of Hollands and Lionheads.  If you'd like to see Jen's Lionheads, please visit Grande's Lionheads @ Perrysburg Rabbits

My Holland Lops come from a few select lines. I owe a great deal of thanks to many people who have helped me along the way.  The obvious ones, based on some of my current stock, are Tracy and Jenna [THF Saynora].  These two ladies not only shared their best stock with me, but they also shared some great advice.  If you're looking for some awesome stock, look these ladies up!

Charlie Gadd of New York has been a good friend and an excellent resource for show, breeding, and husbandry tips.   Charlie has been at this hobby for a few decades and he knows his Hollands! I believe one of the greatest things about this breed is how nice people are and how willing they are to share their experiences with you.

Holland Lops
I've tried raising a number of other breeds but narrowed it down to just one... Holland Lops!!!

Shows We travel all across New York to hit our "home State" shows and also travel down to Pennsylvania and Ohio to show there, as well.
Mini Co-op

About a year ago, I encouraged my friend Cy to consider raising Holland Lops.  To start out, I shared a few junior and senior Hollands out of some of my best stock with him.  Since then, he has done very well and now his barn is filling up with Hollands!  We recently began to share more and more.  So, we’ve decided to combine our efforts in a small “co-op” like way.

This will NOT be a full co-op effort, meaning that we are only sharing a few select Hollands with each other.   However, the ones we combine efforts on will bear these co-op names:  “Cy-Dan’s” [meaning they were born at Cy’s] and “Dan-Cy’s” [meaning they were born here].

There will be only a small amount of Hollands out there that will bear these “Co-op” names.  It’s nice to have a partner, even if it’s a part-time partner!!!
